There are many small walk-in clinics throughout Green Oak Township. The newest and largest facility is the University of Michigan Brighton Center for Specialty Care.
Brighton Center for Specialty Care is located at 7500 Challis Road just south of U-M’s Brighton Health Center. Michigan Medicine’s new 297,000 square-foot health center began welcoming patients in September of 2018.
The U-M Brighton Center for Specialty Care offers a spectrum of adult and pediatric care making U-M services more accessible to the residents of Livingston County and the surrounding communities.
Naturally there is no shortage of dentist, eye doctors, chiropractors, podiatrists and more.
Kensington Park – Kensington Metropark is a unit of the Huron–Clinton Metroparks system located between Milford and South Lyon, Michigan, USA. The park covers 4,543 acres with 13 smaller Metro Parks scattered around Green Oak Township.
The largest is the Kensington Metropark. It has wooded hilly terrain and surrounds 1,200-acre Kent Lake. One of the most popular parks in Green Oak Township, Kensington features a wildlife reservation center, picnic areas, boating along the lake, fishing, beach and walking trails. In the winter you can go sledding and plenty of cross-country skiing trails.
